On Friday, March 27th, Texas Kappa Delta hosted our annual KD Quesadillas during Round Up Weekend at The University of Texas. We, along with 1000 other college students, gathered at the KD house for food, face painting, and photos. A wristband to the event gave you access to all of the food, which included chips, salsa, and unlimited quesadillas. Unlimited. Quesadillas. Our chef, Jorge, kept the quesadillas coming all afternoon, and as if that wasn’t enough, there was also a churro bar in the living room!
We spent the hours dancing around the living room, getting flowers painted on our faces and taking pictures in the photo booth. Somewhere in that time, we raised over $6,000 for our philanthropies, Prevent Child Abuse America and the Austin Center for Child Protection! I am so proud of my chapter for putting on such an amazing event, and can’t wait to watch it get bigger and better with every year that passes! Until next year, KDQ!
