Masquerade Formal

Our chapter formal was on April 24th at the Oasis on Lake Travis and was masquerade themed! The venue was beautiful, but not quite as beautiful as all of my sisters looked. Before formal, we were lucky that an incoming thunderstorm held off for a while, so a few of my sisters and I went to the tower and took pictures. Seeing everyone in their long dresses with their handsome dates was so much fun!

At the venue, there was a fajita feast (yes, a feast), face painting, a photo booth, and an awesome band. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear and enjoying the food and views that the Oasis had to offer. After plenty of photo booth pictures and face painting, my sisters and I danced the night away, making fools of ourselves while making lifetime memories. As a freshman, I was expecting formal to be like prom. However, formal was even better. Something about being with almost 300 of my closest friends made it so, so special. I’m not sure how next year’s formal can top this (shout out to Jill Quisenberry), but I’m already counting down the days.

AOT,
